This year the Rebuilding Together Board was unable to proceed with house projects because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the sponsor company polocies.

We are in immediate need of a member to do repairs on a wounded veterans home in Sobieski, WI. There is a list of tasks and materials will be provided, we just need some good hands. Please call if you're available. Completed
Looking for apprentices to sign up to help raise money for Rebuilding Together while promoting our local. Join us for a fun filled event Friday, August 22nd for the Packer-Raider pre-season game, the football toss starts at 3:30pm and is done by 6:45pm. Did you know that babies need 12 diapers a day and it can cost over $100 per month for an adequate supply? Help us make bottoms in Brown County safe and dry. Please contribute today by donating diapers, pull ups, wipes, and other baby products at our Hall until July 31, 2014. Setup starts Thursday May 22nd, around 9am at Voyager Park, continues on the 23rd and takedown starts at 7am on the 26th. We need volunteers for set up and take down temporary power as well as being on call during the event. If you are planning on attending this event why not volunteer? IBEW Local 158 was a sponsor for the 19th Annual Cerebral Palsy Cosmic Bowl, January 26th, which again had a Hawaiian theme.
Thanks to the brothers and sisters of Local 158, together we make a difference in our community. Each year, CP assists 1200 babies, children and adults with a wide range of physical and cognitive conditions throughout Northeast Wisconsin. Visit their website at www.cp-center.org to learn more

The Greater Green Bay Labor Council Community Services Committee collected a total of 2030 blankets throughout Brown County. IBEW Local 158 served as a collection site for the program and several members made a donation. It was a great success. The blankets have been delivered to area shelters and agencies for those in need.. Completed

"All too often our veterans … serve our country proudly and when they come back they're not always treated the best or given the best amenities they can have," said Mark Bonovetz, president of Rebuilding Together of Greater Green Bay. "Sometimes people need a little bit of help. The purpose of the KI Hope House is to help veterans and veterans' families get back on their feet and live the American dream … with a little bit of assistance."

We will again be assisting with the electrical for Heroes at Home this year. SSgt Forrest Perez will be receiving a brand new home to be built in Keshena. We are partnering up with the one year electrical class at CMN taught by IBEW 158 member Gerald Wayka. If you'd like to help, let us know we are looking at May 15th through the 29th to get it done.
