GREEN BAY -- The Boys and Girls Club of Green Bay got some help with their electrical bill today.
WPS along with the Internation Brotherhood of Electrical Workers joined forces today to donate a solar panel system to the club's east side location. The goal is to not only reduce the club's carbon footprint, but also to help the kids involved with the program expand their knowledge of "going green."
"It is the future to learn about Green energy and just having kids think more consciously about being more aware of their surroundings,"
Organizers say the money they save from their electric bill with the solar panels will go towards programs at the club.
